Seven Times a Day

Psalms 119:164
Seven times a day do I praise thee
because of thy righteous judgments.

Think of this... How many times per day do you eat? Most would say breakfast, lunch and dinner. Three times a day would seem to be the normal. Some would say they eat five to six times per day. They will eat breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid-afternoon snack, dinner and maybe a snack before bedtime. Some will eat three large meals while others eat six small meals. Either way, they are receiving the nourishment they need to continue throughout the day.

What if you treated God in this same manner? What if you met with God seven times a day? Most of us could meet with Him seven times a day to complain about what is going on in the world. We could go on and on with needs and requests. But how many of you could stop seven times today and just praise Him for who He is?

Try it today! Try formulating a pattern today where you could stop seven times to just praise the Lord. Just take seven moments out of your day to tell God how great He is. Tell Him how great are His works. Tell Him how thankful you are for a God who is like no other. I think you will find that you could easily pass seven times a day.
